While recording in Barcelona, the Playing For Change crew heard some amazing music coming from the roof of a building. Curious, they hauled their gear upstairs and were greeted by a Brazilian party! Together they all enjoyed an afternoon full of music and dancing, food and amazing energy!

• In some developing nations, children must walk for miles to school, clean water and to seek medical help.
• Cuts and sores on feet can lead to serious infection.
• Often, children cannot attend school barefoot.
• In Ethiopia, approximately one million people are suffering from Podoconiosis, a debilitating and disfiguring disease caused by walking barefoot in volcanic soil.
• Podoconiosis is 100% preventable with basic foot hygiene and wearing shoes

I will be forever a singer

Two women, Jen and Stephanie, have a dream called Picture Hope. Their dream is to tell us stories that will change our lives forever. Picture Hope came to life when they submitted their idea for a contest and won first prize. Their idea: Two shutter sisters travel to five continents to create a visual catalog of hope from surprising sources while an entire community of women photographers do the same right here at home.
